As we are growing up, we
have started to realize the significance
of our existence. After all, what is life without a purpose? We found
purpose in our lives through web designing, and through it, we have found
a medium to broadcast our anguish at the suffocation we feel at the hands
of today’s politically dominated world. Our
interest in web designing stems from the fact that it has more appeal than any
other form of media or communication. Utilizing the internet, we have been able
to make the world aware of our ideas, and it seems that the world is shrinking
at a much faster pace than we can 'imagine'. Being global citizens, we've always believed in one very riveting quote by Albert Einstein, and it goes thus: "Great spirits have often encountered violent opposition from weak minds." Expanding on his political and social theories, we've come to understand that the future, no matter how enticing it may seem now, will never be what we might imagine. In fact, it would always be better! It is a common
misconception that the current batch of young minds cares for nothing save
their own luxuries and pleasures. This couldn’t be further from the
truth. Even if the above statement may apply to a section of the youth,
and also the older generations, we have found among us many who We believe in the concept of NEWO, the New Economic World Order. It is high time the world learnt to co-exist merrily, without religion, terrorism, nationality or any other barrier to hinder it. All we need is to wake up to the facts, the facts that have been staring at us since time immemorial, but who’s magnitude we have yet to fully understand. "Future Unplugged" is our attempt to awaken the world, and to open the minds of human kind to the possibilities the future holds. We may all be pessimistic about our prospects, but we can still be optimistic about our impending doom, if any such event is to occur at all. The youth of the world holds all the right cards, it has the power to make or break mankind, and it most certainly has the power to change the future. We believe in God, but we do not believe that our fate is predefined. We do have the strength to change the unseen, we do have the potential to achieve the impossible. In any case, it is this denial to accept the state of affairs at hand that has brought us to where we are today. We can change our path with a flick of our magic wands. After all, who has really seen the future? The following website is a tribute to the future of mankind, and is a benign attempt foreseeing our futures. |
