'Future' is a word that invokes a host of mixed feelings in one's mind.
For some the future means an impending doom, for some future holds a vast ocean of opportunities.
What, however is common among all of them is, when the word future is spoken, one can only 'imagine' what it is.
The full power of imagination becomes evident when one talks of the future.
Foreseeing one's
Foreseeing one's future is an activity that demands foresight and practicality.
It is important to look at the future in a practical, yet imaginative manner.
Our belief that the future will be better than our present is what keeps us going.
It is the future, which is the crowning jewel of human imagination.

WHAT DOES OUR FUTURE HOLD?
From where we stand today, our future is neither too bright, nor too grim.
It depends on how we use our current powers to mould our tomorrow, the generation of us, the youth.
What is imperative though, are the scientific advancements that will surely revolutionize our world, and extend our possibilities beyond anything we can think about today
without attracting hearty chuckles from our friends.
Our future holds many possibilities. The biggest uncertainty that we face is our existence.
The prevalent conditions of the world point to an Armageddon very soon, as brother fights against brother, religion against religion and nation against nation.
As it is, human existence is dependent entirely on nature. If we set aside God an evolution for a minute, and concentrate solely on nature, we would realize just how
much we are under nature’s mercy. If the past is any example, whatever creatures that has roamed the earth up till now, no matter how invincible, has been wiped out
some way or the other by nature. For example, the mighty dinosaurs, probably the most versatile creatures that ever lived, were mopped clean, according to the
currently accepted theory, by an asteroid. For those of you unfamiliar with natural disasters, an asteroid collision is considered to be a natural disaster as well,
and everyone would agree that it is certainly the most devastating among its rivals. However, take heart in the fact that global warming,
no matter how publicized, is still as unproven as the existence of God. It is still a ‘theory’, a fear, and paranoia of sorts. The only things that suggest that such a
phenomenon is taking place are the studies that have been conducted on icebergs in the artic regions. Nice job fella’s, that doesn’t prove anything.
You know why? ‘Cus only a handful of the total number of icebergs have realy been studied. If the rest were studied, it would paint a pretty normal picture.
Besides, if global warming does happen, it is not our fault. This is because the earth goes through a cycle of temperature changes every so few years, from hot to cold to hot.
The last ice age was a 100,000 year ago, so the next climate change would be from cold to hot, in other words a global warming; a “natural” phenomena.
What we are trying to say is that we cannot be held responsible for our dooms. We are bound to die off some time, and the only one who can do that is nature;
we don’t really have the power to destroy ourselves.
Now lets move on to more positive aspects of our future.
If the current belief is any indication, the youth of our day is simply put, tired of the current trends.
The dirty politics has made weary the smartest and brightest of our day. What we demand is a new concept, a change beyond any change we have yet witnessed.
The next era of mankind will be that of transformation, of what is called a "paradigm shift", i.e. the change of thinking from one way to another.
This term is used to describe the process and result of change in basic assumptions within the ruling theory of science.
It will be a time when everyone would share the world and co-exist merrily.
What we cannot see about the future, we cannot assess.
It is but natural that some changes will occur in the future, some events will take place that would have an effect on mankind on their own.
Those events are what make predicting the future a tortuous task. We can only hope that these events will achieve only good.
The future of our social life seems to be the easiest, yet intricate to predict.
The sheer diversity in our world makes it hard to predict what will happen in specific areas, but what can be predicted are the changes in the macrocosm.
Anyone hoping that crime would be tackled with more effectively are in for an unwelcome surprise.
The will to do evil is in-born in humans; time probably won’t do much to change human instinct.
The vagaries of society would still exist, along with superstitious beliefs.
religion. Religions will change, beliefs will change, faiths would die, and new ones would be born to replace them.
Religious fanaticism is only a phase that would pass, just like the Dark Ages did.
People have realized now that religion should be kept private, it has no place outside our personal lives. It only brings destruction and chaos when kept in open air.
A far-fetched dream of ours is that Nations will cease to exist in the next few thousand years;
instead of belonging to a nationality, humans will unite and live as earthlings. Many before us have proposed this radical theory,
and it is one that we propagate whole-heartedly. We are humans first, and citizens of a nation last. We must not forget that we all evolved together,
and we could not have survived without each other’s support.
One aspect of the future that can be foreseen, predicted and explained without a shade of doubt is that
a complete overhaul awaits us.
